ARP Navigator — AI & Resource Information Disclaimer

Last Updated: August 1, 2026

The ARP Navigator is an artificial-intelligence-powered resource-navigation tool provided by the Autism Resource Project (“ARP”).

The Navigator is designed to help individuals, families, parents, caregivers, and others identify potentially useful information, resources, programs, services, and possible next steps based upon information provided by the user.

The Navigator Is an Informational Tool

The ARP Navigator is provided for informational, educational, and resource-navigation purposes only.

The Navigator is not a doctor, therapist, psychologist, attorney, financial advisor, educator, benefits administrator, government representative, or other licensed professional.

Information provided by the Navigator does not constitute:

  • medical advice or diagnosis;
  • psychological or therapeutic advice;
  • legal advice;
  • financial or tax advice;
  • educational or special-education advice;
  • insurance advice;
  • government-benefits advice;
  • eligibility determinations; or
  • other professional advice.

AI Can Make Mistakes

The ARP Navigator uses artificial intelligence and automated technology.

Artificial intelligence can produce information that is incorrect, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or inappropriate for an individual’s particular circumstances.

Do not assume that information is accurate simply because it was generated by the ARP Navigator.

Important information should be independently verified with the applicable provider, government agency, educational institution, insurer, organization, qualified professional, or other authoritative source before you act upon it.

No Guarantee of Eligibility

The Navigator may identify resources or programs for which you appear potentially eligible.

This does not mean that you have been approved or will qualify.

Eligibility for government programs, financial assistance, insurance benefits, educational services, grants, nonprofit programs, healthcare services, and other resources is determined by the organization responsible for that program.

ARP cannot guarantee:

  • eligibility;
  • acceptance;
  • availability;
  • funding;
  • insurance coverage;
  • waitlist status;
  • provider availability;
  • pricing;
  • geographic coverage; or
  • the outcome of an application.

Provider and Resource Recommendations

The Navigator may identify healthcare providers, therapists, attorneys, educators, organizations, businesses, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, programs, products, or other third-party resources.

Unless ARP expressly states otherwise, appearing in Navigator results does not constitute an endorsement, certification, warranty, or guarantee by ARP.

Users should independently evaluate any provider, organization, program, product, or service before relying upon or purchasing it.

Information Changes

Programs, laws, benefits, eligibility requirements, providers, contact information, pricing, insurance coverage, funding, availability, and other information can change without notice.

Although ARP strives to provide useful information, we cannot guarantee that all Navigator information will always be current.

Whenever possible, verify important information directly with the applicable organization.

Your Circumstances Are Unique

Autism, neurodivergence, disability, healthcare, education, employment, benefits, family circumstances, and support needs vary significantly from person to person.

A resource that is appropriate for one individual may not be appropriate for another.

Navigator results should therefore be considered potential resources and possible next steps—not individualized professional determinations.

Emergencies

The ARP Navigator is not an emergency service.

Do not use or rely upon the Navigator to respond to a medical, mental-health, safety, or other emergency.

If you or another person is in immediate danger or experiencing an emergency, contact appropriate emergency services.

Privacy

Information you provide to the Navigator may be processed to personalize your results.

Please provide only information reasonably necessary to receive the resources you are seeking.

For additional information concerning how ARP handles personal information, please review the ARP Privacy Policy.

Your Responsibility

By using the ARP Navigator, you acknowledge that:

  1. Navigator results are informational;
  2. artificial intelligence can make mistakes;
  3. Navigator results do not replace qualified professional advice;
  4. you are responsible for independently verifying important information; and
  5. decisions you make based upon Navigator information remain your responsibility.

Our objective is to help make finding resources easier, more organized, and less overwhelming. The Navigator is a starting point for finding support—not a substitute for qualified human judgment.
